Oslo Davis was born in Brooklyn, Tasmania. He is now a Melbourne illustrator and cartoonist.

PUBLISHED WORK

His work has appeared in The New York Times, The Age and BusinessWeek, as well as in various local journals including Meanjin, the Sleepers Almanac, Tango, Going Down Swinging and Torpedo. He draws a weekly cartoon in The Sunday Age called Overheard and a cartoon for Bicycle Victoria's Ride On magazine. Oslo has just started drawing a cartoon for the Readings Monthly.

BOOKS

He has published a number of zines and books, including hungrygeese, Raised Eyebrows, Conceived on a Tram (Sleepers Publishing), Three Books and Golden Week. A book of his Overheards will be published by Arcade Publications in 2010.

He is represented by The Jacky Winter Group.

EXHIBITION

In November 2009 Oslo Davis had his first solo exhibition at Lamington Drive, titled This Annoying Life. Read Andrew Stephens' preview in The Age, and Dan Rule's article in Broadsheet.
